Two classics, cheese cake and churro, come together for this treat. Cinnamon takes center stage with the creamy cheese cake as the perfect foil. It’s a simple dessert to make and a perfect summer treat. Double the recipe for a 13×9 dessert; I just did the 8×8 single serving recipe. (I’m joking). I hope you like it.
1 can crescent rolls
1 8-ounce packages cream cheese at room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon extract
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
Add egg, vanilla, and cinnamon and beat until smooth.
Mix 3/4 cup sugar with cinnamon.
Lay out first roll of crescent rolls in an 8 x 8 baking dish. Add 1/2 of cinnamon sugar mix.
Add cheese cake batter.
Top with second crescent roll.
Add remainder of cinnamon sugar
Bake for 25 – 30 minutes.
