Just an update on the Favorite Chef contest I’m a part of. I am currently 4th place and I am hoping to make the top 5 cutoff which is Thursday evening at 10:00 PM. The finals will be next week. The prize is $25,000 and a 2 page feature in Taste of Home magazine. I will use the money to finish and market it my second cookbook “I Got It At The Farmers Market” to feature buying local to support growers and artisan people.
