I am not a huge fan of pumpkin spice everything; it should be used properly and when the flavor will enhance the recipe. I know the boos and hisses are coming, but I don’t care. In this recipe, the spices enhance the butter and brown sugar making it all blend. Normally people would use pumpkin pie spice, but I did my own blend. White chocolate finishes off the flavor profile. I hope you like it.
Wet ingredients:
3/4 cup melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
Dry ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon clove
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Heat oven to 350.
In a bowl mix melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar and mix until combined.
Add vanilla and eggs; mix for 3 minutes.
In bowl 2 mix flour, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and baking soda and mix.
Add bowl 2 into bowl 1 and mix.
Add to 8 x 8 greased baking pan.
Bake for 28-30minutes
