Blue Crab and Red Fish with White Wine

We were vacationing in the Outer Banks and went to a seafood provider. The red fish looked great, and since I was unable to catch any, I bought it. Next, they had some blue crab which I was also unable to catch, so I bought it. The wine, let’s face it, I bought. I added some seasonings, butter, and some breadcrumbs, and we had dinner. I hope you like it.

16 tablespoons butter, divided
8 ounces crab meat
4 ounces white wine
6 ounces seasoned panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon Italian herbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
2 pounds red drum fish
1 lemon, sliced

In a saucepan on medium, melt 8 tablespoons of butter.

Add crab and stir.

Add Panko and stir.

Add white wine and stir to combine.

Set aside.

Place fish on a foil- lined sheet pan. Add 1/4 cup wine spread on fish.

Add Old Bay, garlic powder, and Italian herbs.

Top fish with crab mixture.

Top with remaining butter.

Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

Serve.
