Chai Snickerdoodles

Spice mix
2 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon clove
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon ginger

Wet ingredients
1/2 cup butter 1 stick
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 shortening
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 eggs

Dry ingredients bowl 2
2 3/4 all purpose flour
2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix spices and set aside

mix butter, shortening, sugar vanilla, add eggs one at a time.

Mix dry ingredients

Add dry ingredients to wets 1/3 at a time. mix until all is blended

roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and roll in spice mix

bake at 350 for 9 minutes

will make 4 dozen
