1 1/4 cup AP flour
1/3 cup dark coco powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

1 stick butter
1/2 packed cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup
1 large egg
1 extra egg yoke
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
Topping
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
2 ounces butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut Use sweetened if you want I found it too sweet.
1/2 cup pecan pieces
2 oz semi sweet chocolate melted
In large bowl sift together flour, coco, and baking powder
In second bowl cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar and beat until creamy
Add egg and beat add egg yolk
Add vanilla
Add flour mixture 1/3 at a time until completely mixed
Add chocolate chips
Refrigerate for 30 minutes
Preheat oven to 350
On parchment lined baking sheets
Use a 1 1/2 oz cookie scoop place cookie dough on sheet
Bake for 9-10 minutes
Topping
In a sauce pan add milk, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk
Cook for 10 minutes stirring constantly
Add the coconut and pecan pieces
Let cool and thicken
When cookies are cool top with nut coconut frosting
drizzle with melted chocolate
Make two batches one for you one to share.
