Cheese Puff Walleye

While at Crosby’s Crabs working on another recipe, I saw some fresh walleye fillets. My short attention span kicked in, and I focused on the walleye. I then stopped at the nearby party store and saw some cheese puffs, and dinner was hatched. I added some parm to enhance the cheese flavor and added some spices. I hope you like it.

2 pounds Walleye fillets
1 stick butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Old Bay
1 10-ounce bag cheese puffs
2 teaspoons chives
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350.

Remove skin from fillet.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melt butter in microwave.

Top fish with butter.

Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Old Bay on fish.

Crush cheeses puffs in a plastic bag.

Add Parmesan cheese to bag and mix.

Top fish with mixture.

Bake for 17-21 minutes.

Sprinkle on chives.
