Reverse Bumpy Kace

I love the Michigan bumpy cake. I get one every time I’m able to buy one. Here is the opposite kace. (I know some of you got that.) So, a moist yellow cake with a chocolate filling topped with white chocolate buttercream. I hope you like it.

1/2 cup butter, melted
1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup water
Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
4 ounces chocolate pudding mix
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
Topping:
3/4 cup unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1/4 cup shaved white chocolate

Preheat oven to 350.

In a bowl add cake mix, eggs, water, butter, and vanilla. Beat for 3 minutes.

Grease and flour 13 x 9 baking dish. Pour batter into pan.

Bake for 23-28 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool.

Filling:

In bowl, whip cream cheese for 2 minutes.

Add pudding and cocoa and whip into cream cheese until you can no longer see cream cheese.

Add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time.

Frosting:

Mix butter and salt and whip until creamy; add powdered sugar in one cup increments; add milk and whip. Mix in white chocolate.

Have someone more talented than me decorate it.

Assembly:
Pipe two thick lines of filling lengthwise on cake.
Frost with white chocolate buttercream
