While driving to the beach, you pass a lot of farm stands. Followers of my blog know that I love me some farm stands. So I put this burger together with the local ingredients: pimento cheese, farm stand bacon, pickles, and fresh greens. I hope you like it.
1 pound ground beef (more or less)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Same amount pepper
1/2 cup pimento cheese
8 strips bacon (hickory of course)
1 cup arugula from that farm stand
4 buns
Bread and butter pickles
4 tablespoons mustard ( brown spicy)
Potato chips
Cook bacon until crispy. Now, you need to stop turning it so much. Just let it cook.
Salt and pepper burger.
Cook a burger however you want. I like cast iron because you get a crispy crust. Use medium high heat and cook for 6 minutes on each side – less if you like it bloody.
Toast bun.
