Crab and Pesto Mushrooms

It is almost the holidays, and there will be parties, luncheons, and the dreaded pot luck. Instead of the seven-layer dip or monkey bread, let’s go more elegant. These little gems are also Keto friendly. Six ingredients, 20 minutes prep, and eight minutes cooking time, so no all day ordeal. The sweetness of the crabmeat with the savory pesto topped with the melty cheese will be the most asked for recipe at the get together, so thank you for sending people to my blog, or are you really going to take full credit? 16 ounces button mushrooms
8 ounces crabmeat
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning plus more for top
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 ounces pesto
4 ounces Italian blend cheese

Preheat oven to 350.

Remove stems from mushrooms.

In bowl add crabmeat, garlic powder, Old Bay, and pesto and toss to combine.

Fill mushrooms with crab mixture.

Top with cheese and sprinkle on Old Bay.

Place mushrooms on parchment- lined baking sheet.

Bake for 8 minutes at 350.

Serve.
