Swordfish eats more like meat than fish, so I treated it that way. I wrapped it in bacon and coated it with a cherry jalapeño bbq sauce from a trip to North Carolina. I hope you like it.
2 8-ounce swordfish steaks
4 strips hickory smoked bacon
1/4 cup cherry jalapeño bbq sauce
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Heat oven to 350.
Sprinkle swordfish with Old Bay and pepper.
Fry bacon to 1/2 done and still flexible. Wrap outside rim of swordfish with bacon; secure with toothpick(s).
Add bbq sauce to both sides of fish.
Place fish on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 16-20 minutes.
Serve with vegetables.
