Cacio E Pepe Pigs in a Blanket

I saw this on Food TV and of course made some changes. I have done the cacio e pepe before on this blog, and it was page one on Google for about a year. This has the peppe, parm, and egg, but I added just a little everything Italian seasoning to make it really pop. Oh, and a little melty cheese tucked inside, kinda like getting that last little thing out of your Christmas stocking. I hope you like it. 

1 can crescent rolls
8 link sausages, cooked
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon everything Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten

Heat oven to 375.

In a bowl mix egg, parmesan cheese, black pepper.

Coat one side of crescent rolls with egg mixture.

Roll sausage in crescent roll.

Coat top with egg mixture.

Sprinkle with everything Italian seasoning.

Place crescent rolls on parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 9-11 minutes.

Serve.
