At the Warrenton Farmers Market I can easily find inspiration for my next idea; today I found it at Weirdoughs Bagels. I arrived to market late, so they had sold most of their bagels. They did have some Old Bay bagel chips leftover, so my mind went to ideas on what to do with them. Like when you get that loaded bagel for breakfast at the deli, the one with lox , cream cheese, capers, dill, and some pickled red onion. All this on an everything bagel with Old Bay seasoning, crispy and savory. Perfect for a brunch or a football game. I hope you like it.
12 ounces bagel chips from Weurdoughs Bagels
4 ounces lox or smoked fish
3 ounces capers
3 ounces pickled red onions
2 tablespoons chopped dill
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 ounces creme fresh
4 ounces cream cheese
Heat oven to 350.
In a bowl mix creme fresh and cream cheese. Microwave for 20 seconds.
Bake chips for 10 minutes.
Assembly:
Bagel chips
Lox
Cream cheese mix
Capers
Pickled red onion
Dill
Black pepper
Serve.

Wow, that looks good!
