This is rich, decadent, and high end all the way. If you want to use box mac and cheese, you can; it will still be delicious. If you want to spend more and use ribeye steak, that too is a choice you can make. I hope you like it.
Mac And Cheese
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
16 ounces whole milk
8 ounces cream cheese
16 ounces grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon white pepper
3 ounces chives
Lobster
2 8 ounce lobster tail
2 sticks butter
Steak
16 ounces chuck eye steaks
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Olive oil
In a two quart sauce pan add 2 sticks of butter, Old Bay, and lobster. Simmer for 10 minutes or until lobster is cooked.
Remove lobster from shell and chop into bite size pieces.
Cook box of macaroni shells per package directions.
In a 2 quart sauce pan, add butter and flour and stir constantly with whisk. Cook until a dark blonde roux.
Add milk and cook until thick.
Add mustard and pepper then stir.
Add the cream cheese and cheddar in three parts.
Cook until thick.
Add macaroni and stir.
Add lobster meat and stir.
Heat oven to 350.
Add chives and stir.
Coat steak with oil.
Season steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat oven safe skillet to medium high.
Add steak and cook for 3 minutes per side.
Add to oven and cook for 10-14 minutes or until internal temperature is 125 – 128.
Let rest for 10 minutes.
Plate a Mac and Cheese circle then surround with thinly sliced steak.
