Air Fryer Ribs

I love slow cooked ribs both on the smoker or in the oven. I get compliments on my ribs when I make them, and I make them a lot. So in an effort to break the mold, I decided to throw out everything that works and try something mad scientistish. I used the air fryer. So the only thing I kept was the the bourbon BBQ sauce. This saves me 2 hours of cooking time, not keeping the oven on during the summer, or standing by the smoker in 96 degree heat. Long story short, they came out great, tender, and flavorful.

Ribs:
2 pounds baby back ribs
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon celery salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Mustard
Favorite BBQ sauce
Foil

Remove silver skin from back of ribs.

Rub ribs with mustard.

In bowl add brown sugar and all of the spices.

Add spice rub to ribs on both sides.

Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Cut ribs in 3 or 4 rib sections.

Let ribs get to room temperature.

Wrap ribs in foil.

Add to air fryer and cook at 380 for 25 minutes.

Remove foil; add sauce and cook for 10 additional minutes. Cook

Check temperature, target is 190.

Where do you buy the ribs? Yours always seem to have more meat on the bones than I get.
