I used to trade my peanut butter cups for coconut cast bars as a kid on Halloween. This bar is a throwback to that classic.
1 box brownie mix
Replace regular egg with a duck egg
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup water
16 ounces shredded coconut
8 ounces sweetened condensed milk
2 ounce coconut rum
10 ounces almonds
16 ounces chocolate chocolate bar
Cooking spray
Heat oven to 350.
Mix brownie mix, egg, water and oil.
Add to sprayed 9 x 13 pan.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Mix coconut flakes, condensed milk and rum.
Flatten mixture on parchment paper to 8 1/2 x 12.
Pull out brownies after 10 minutes and add coconut mixture to top.
Add almonds to to of coconut evenly.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until coconut browns the almonds are toasted and brownies are cooked.
Remove brownies and cool for 1 hour.
Melt chocolate in microwave.
Pour on top of brownies/coconut/almonds and spread to even.
Let cool.
Serve.
