I was at the Stafford Farmers Market and loaded up on fresh produce like tomatoes and basil. I decided to do a riff on a BLT. First “B” salty smoky bacon, second “B” basil with that great smell, third “B” balsamic to add sweetness and a little acid. Fresh tomato slices are added to everything sourdough bread with a little mayo. I hope you like it.
2 slices everything sourdough bread
2 tablespoons mayo
4 slices bacon (almost crispy)
10 basil leaves
1 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Cook bacon to almost crispy(if it totally crispy then it will break and fall out)
Salt and pepper tomato slices.
Spread mayo on bread.
