Beef Kidney Appetizer

Oh keep your eews to yourself. Everything works together for a successful app. You have the earthy beef kidney sliced thin and tender. The apple brings a sweetness to counter point the tangy goat cheese and the pesto saltiness. The Baguette makes a great base. So get over your offal hang up. I hope you like it.

1/2 pound kidney sliced thin and vein removed
1 cup milk
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 small baguette slice and toasted
1 honey crisp apple cut thin
6 ounces goat cheese
1 jar pesto

Soak kidney slices in milk for 20 minutes.

In a pie pan add flour, Old Bay, pepper, and garlic powder.

Dredge kidney slices to flour and coat completely.

Add oil to a medium pan add kidney slices when red liquid shows turn about 4 minutes per side.

Remove to a paper towel to drain.
