Pan fried oysters
Dredge
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup corn meal
1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pint fresh large (select)
Dredge oysters to coat in flour mixture coat completely
Olive oil and butter to fry
Drain on paper towel
Heat pan and oil and butter to medium
Fry until golden brown on each side
Serve as a main dish or on a po’boy
