1 12 oz package fresh cranberries (washed)
4 oz orange juice
4 oz merlot wine (sangria works also)
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon orange zest grated
1 orange for garnish sliced thin
add all ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan
cook on high bringing to a boil cook for 15 minutes or until the berries pop
Chill for 3 hours
