1 1/2 pound pork loin
Rub for pork loin
3 tablespoons cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon Chinese 5 spice
8 slices of ham or apple smoked bacon
8 slices Swiss cheese
8 dill pickles
In a sauce pan on medium add all ingredients let simmer for 25 minutes
Mustard
6 tablespoons mustard seeds ground
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey or agave
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon horse radish(optional)
Mix all mustard ingredients together let sit for 30 minutes
1 large baguette
Take pork loin and coat with sour orange sauce
Mix spices and coat pork loin
Preheat oven to 350
In a oven safe 12 inch skillet heat oil to medium
Brown all sides of pork loin
Place in oven and bake to 150 degrees to medium let rest for 15 minutes
Assembly
Cut baguette in half
Cut into serving sizes 6 in
Spread mustard on bread
Place pork loin on bread
Place ham or bacon
Place cheese
Place pickle
Place top bread
Butter both top and bottom on bread with a lot of butter.
Heat skillet to medium
Place sandwich in pan
Press down sandwich with heavy pan until brown flip
Brown on other side and cheese should melt
Serve with potato chips or black beans and rice
should make 4 sandwiches
