I was talked out of using bourbon and went with amaretto instead. Everyone was right amaretto was the better choice.
Dries
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Wets
2 sticks unsalted butter
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
2 eggs plus one egg yolks
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons bourbon
8 oz butterscotch morsels
4 oz white chocolate morsels
Melt butter on medium low until milk solids foam and brown and becomes an amber color refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm
In bowl one mix dry ingredients flour salt and baking powder
In bowl 2 cream butter and sugar until light with beaters
Add eggs one at a time
Add vanilla and bourbon
Add dry ingredients in thirds
Add chips stir.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place in a greased 8 x 8 baking dish
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 or until toothpick come out clean
