These were my favorite candy bars. You could add a nut like an almonds, that may be joyous or you could stack them into mounds.. I don’t want to be sued. Just in time for Easter.
3 cups unsweetened coconut
1/4 teaspoon fine popcorn salt
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
5 oz sweetened condensed milk
12 oz bittersweet chocolate chips or pieces.
Mix coconut, salt, and condensed milk in medium bowl until just combined.
In a greased 8×8 pan press coconut mixture until flat freeze for 25 minutes.
In a microwave melt chocolate with coconut extract in 15 second burst stirring afterwords until smooth
Place parchment large sheet tray
Cut coconut mixture into 1″ x 2″ pieces.
Dip each piece into chocolate and place on parchment lined sheet tray
Let set for 2 hours
