Chocolate Monkey Bread

It’s Sunday. It’s breakfast. It’s chocolate monkey bread. I hope you like it.

3 cans buttermilk biscuit dough cut in quarters
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cardamom

Glaze:
2 sticks of butter
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350.

Cut each biscuit into quarters and roll into balls.

Mix white sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom in a gallon plastic bag.

Grease Bundt pan.

Coat balls of dough with cinnamon sugar in bag.

Layer dough in pan adding some chocolate chips in each level.

In a sauce pan, add butter and brown sugar; cook until it comes to a boil stirring occasionally. Let boil for 2 minutes.

Coat top of dough with brown sugar mixture.

Bake for 33-38 minutes.

Let rest for 10 minutes.

Serve.
