Canadian Dog

Certain flavors say Canada; maple of course, bacon sure, cheese curds absolutely. So let’s make a hot dog with all those flavors. Now a little license adding some chives and a homemade sauce, (you can’t put gravy on everything). I hope you like it.

4 low sodium all beef hot dogs
4 lobster roll buns
4 slices Canadian bacon chopped in pieces
4 slices bacon crumbled
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 teaspoon chives
8 pickled peppers
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup cheese curds chopped

Cook bacon about 1/4 of the way and add hot dogs to pan yes we are frying in bacon fat

When bacon is 3/4 add Canadian bacon

Mix syrup and dijon add chives

Dice cheese curds Place cheese curds on a plate and microwave for 10 seconds they will get a little meaty

When the outside of the dog blisters a little on both side

The bun opens from the top
Hot dog
The mustard sauce
Cheese curds
Chives
Pickled peppers
