Deep Fried Avocado

I saw this on a menu but too late to order it with my meal. Southern folks have it easier than Yankees. They work on the plan “just fry it”. So once again,I fried it. I hope you like it.

2 avocados
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup rice flour
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Oil for frying

Ranch or remoulade dressing for dipping

Peel skin from avocado and cut in 2-inch wide strips.

In a bowl mix eggs and milk.

Heat oil to 350.

In bowl 2, mix rice flour and Old Bay.

In bowl 3, mix Panko win pepper.

Dip avocado in rice flour.

Dip avocado in egg wash.

Dip avocado in Panko.

Dip avocado in egg wash

Dip avocado in panko

Fry until golden brown about 2-3 minutes
