Hers is a fusion recipe that I did for the Haymarket Farmers Market. It’s like a meatball in a crispy blanket. With a great marinara sauce, you can be the hit of the farmers market. I hope you like it.
1/2 pound Italian sausage from Wards Farm
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian herbs
25 wonton wrappers
1 jar marinara
Mix parmesan cheese and herbs with sausage.
Lay out wrapper.
Add 3/4 teaspoon of sausage mixture in center of wrapper.
Wet all edges of wrapper with a little water.
Fold over wrapper, pressing out air and seal. Then pull the solid bottom edges to touch and glue with a little water.
Spray with cooking spray.
Air fry at 370 for 6 minutes per side or until golden brown.
Won tons were a big thing for us.
