Grandma Molly’s Jingle Bell Fudge

Ok  Grandma Molly used a double boiler and never saw a microwave so I adapted this to technology.  She also used peanut butter I like almonds better.

11 oz butterscotch morsels one bag
1/2 cup almond butter or peanutbutter
2/3 cups sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup chopped almond or walnuts
1/4 cup of sliced or slivered almonds or walnuts
1 Pinch of salt

Combing butterscotch morsels in a microwave safe bowl
On high setting microwave 30 seconds bursts and stirring after each time until mixture is smooth and blended
It will take about 4 to 5 minutes total depending on the microwave
Add milk and stir until the mixture is smooth
Spread in a lightly buttered pan. or lined with parchment

Chill in refrigerator until firm
Cut into squares
