Simple Salsa Chicken

2 chicken breasts go skinless because it will be covered with salsa
1 jar Newman’s Own Medium salsa (use your favorite)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1/2 garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Cheddar Jack cheese to top 1/2 cup grated

Coat baking pan or dish with cooking oil
Place chicken breasts on oil
coat with salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano
top with salsa
don’t top with cheese until 30 minutes
top with cheese cook for 10 minutes

Bake at 350 for or until the internal temp is 165

let rest for 5 minutes  before serving.salsa chicken
