Balsamic Glazed Mushrooms

Simple but delicious, a great side dish. Quality ingredients like getting your mushrooms from a trusted source like The Fruitful Forest. Virginie hooked me up with some amazing hen-of-the-woods mushrooms. I love local items. I hope you like it.

1 pound hen-of-the-woods mushrooms
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Cut mushrooms into 1/4 inch strips lengthwise.

Heat large skillet to medium.

Add butter and oil and cook until butter is melted and starts to bubble.

Add mushrooms; sprinkle with one half of Old Bay, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until slightly brown on the edges.

Turn oven and sprinkle with remaining Old Bay, pepper and garlic powder.

Add balsamic vinegar and cook until mushrooms are coated and glossy.

Serve.
