Orange Blondie

I wanted to do something summery and thought orange.(which is a winter item so you know how confusing my mind is) But a Blondies is always good no matter the season. The orange cuts the sweetness of the Blondies and brings more flavor to the party. I hope you like it.

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
2 teaspoons orange zest
2 teaspoons orange extract
12 ounces white chocolate chips
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon orange zest

In bowl 1 add flour, salt and baking soda and mix.

In bowl 2 cream butter and sugar until smooth.

Add eggs and mix.

Add extract and zest and combine.

Add white chocolate chips.

Heat oven to 350.

Place batter in a 9x 13 inch greased pan.

Bake for 30-35 minutes .

Let cookies cool.

In a bowl add powdered sugar, zest and orange juice and mix.

Glaze and cut.

Serve.
