Ridiculously simple biscuits

I have done many biscuit recipes on this blog. This is the simplest of them all. Two possibly three depending on how old your self rising flour is. It consists of self rising flour and heavy cream. If the self rising flour is old add baking powder. No need to cut the butter in add buttermilk mix shortening in non of that stuff. I’m almost embarrassed to post this, but I still did it. I hope you like it.

2 cups self rising flour
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1/2 tablespoon baking powder if flour is oldies

In a bowl mix flour and baking powder.

Add cream and mix until dough comes together.

Put out on a floured surface.

Fold over and press out 8 times.

Heat oven to 425.

Cut out biscuits and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Brush tops with cream.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve.
