I decided to simply bake this winter squash with as much flavor as I could. I added butter, pumpkin pie spice which contains cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Then I added Old Bay seasoning which has salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and cayenne. Baked everything until fork tender. I hope you like it.
1 pound honey nut squash sliced in 1/2 inch rounds
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
1 stick butter
Heat oven to 350.
Melt butter.
Place squash rounds on a rimmed baking sheet.
Top with melted butter.
Sprinkle with Old Bay and pumpkin pie spice.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
Serve.
